• Dates- 1500’s
• What was it? - gave Europeans a new way to view the human races place in the universe.
• 3 Important concepts- Rationalism, Sir Isaac Newton and the Scientific Method.
• What Caused it and How? – In the Renaissance Era is when they started experimenting and second guessing the church because of their beliefs and also introduced many philosophers.
• Why Was It Important To Human History? – It brought new knowledge that would largely affect the people.
• How did it Affect People around the World? – It gave them a different way to see life.
• What it Caused and How? – It increased wealth. Without money there would not be any science. Money is needed to experiment.

Dates: (1939-1945)
What it was:
A war between the Axis powers (Germany, Italy, Japan) and the Allied powers (Great Britain, America, Russia). The Axis powers were a Fascist community and revolted against the Allied powers about what happen at the end of WW1
3 Important things:
The rise of Fascism and Fascist leaders. The Holocaust- The death of the Jewish community. The development and dropping of the atomic bomb on Japan.
What caused it and how:
Treaty of Versailles, Germany almost lost everything. Japan got no recognition for helping end WW1. Italy was in a Great Depression. All three countries became Fascist.
Why it was important to human history:
Brought new technologies (such as: the atomic bomb and jeep) into the world. World today would not be what it is now if not for those things.
How it affected the people around the world:
Women in America were able to enter the workforce. Japan was almost destroyed (some areas are still not livable today). France was destroyed (again). Jewish survivors were all sent to Israel.
What it caused and how:
The cold war. Russia and America were the only two world powers left after WW2. Fought about how to rebuild Germany and how their government should be. Nuremberg Trials- almost all the Nazis were put to death or sentenced to life (24 years) in jail.

Dates: The renaissance began in 1300 and ended in 1650.
What is it?: The renaissance was a “time of creativity and great change in many areas: political, social, economic, and cultural.”
3 main concepts: Humanism: awareness of self. Leonardo de Vinci: scientist, inventor, and artist. Renaissance man: Skilled in many fields.
What caused it and how: The renaissance was caused by the Crusades. It was caused by the crusades because it brought back wealth and knowledge to Italy.
Why it was important to human history?: The renaissance was important to human history because it motivated people to advance in everything, such as: Science, industry, technology, literature, and mathematics.
How it affected people around the world: The renaissance affected people around the world by separating church from state. It changed the view of the people towards the church.
What it caused and how?: The renaissance caused the scientific revolution. It caused the scientific revolution by teaching humans more about humanity. Also it encouraged them to learn more about science and question the mechanics of everything.

WWI
Dates:
August 1, 1914 - Germany declares war on Russia.
March 15, 1917- Russia leaves war.
April 6, 1917- America declares war.
October 23, 1917- America joins fighting in France
November 11, 1918 Germany signs Armistice.
What it was
WWI was a major war due to the assassination of Archduke of Austria-Hungary. WWI was a major war spanning the globe.

What caused WWI And How?
WWI was caused by many factors. One of the factor was the assassination of the Archduke of Austria-Hungary, which got many many of the alliances into war. Austria-Hungary’s Archduke was assassinated by Jespi …. a serbian. In response, Austria-Hungary declared war on serbia and that started the war.
Why WWI was important?
WWI was important more than just a historical war. WWI brought many new technologies and new countries were formed. This helped spread Democracy and peace within the world. Without these things the world would not be the same today.
How WWI Affected The People Of The World.
WWI affected many aspects of the world at the time. The main effect it had on the world was the Great Depression. The Great Depression decimated America and the world. The other ways WWI affected the world was it made new countries and spread of democracy.
What Did WWI Cause and How?
WWI caused the Great Depression and brought the world into WWII.

· It was an economic change that began in Britain. It began the birth of factories and mass production.
· 1) New technology 2) Agricultural Development 3)Factory Production
· The Industrial Revolution was driven by the Scientific revolution. The Scientific Revolution helped people reexamine all aspects of life and society to create a better world. This led to people making new discoveries and inventing new things, which all led to the Industrial Revolution.
· It was the truing point in human history because of the fact that crop rotation was a new way to get food on the self of all stores and keep food year round. This in turn made the population boom. Also the invention of the engine and plane created a way to travel across long distances in matter of hours. This is how it was important to human history.
· It gave the world a new perspective on advancement and pushed the world to race into production for the betterment of their countries. With things such as steam engines and seed drills the world had obtained a new technological foundation for the coming change.
· The effect of the industrial revolution created a path way to quicker production and the supply demand that came with it, with this the countries were inclined to expand to find the necessary resources to expand their nation and its power.
